October 21, 2001, was a night that Alfonso Soriano will never forget. A rookie on a team of veterans, Alfonso Soriano bombed a two-run home run off of the AL's most dominant closer, Kazuhiro Sasaki, in the bottom of the ninth inning with the score tied at 1. This moved the New York Yankees one win from their fourth consecutive trip to the World Series. His two-run homer off Kazuhiro Sasaki in the ninth inning that night ended a wild and gritty game, giving New York a 3-1 victory against Seattle and a 3-1 lead in the AL Championship Series. Alfonso Soriano has hand signed this 8x10 color photograph of him hitting during the World Series. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
