Known for his grit and durability behind the plate Pudge also carried a big stick retiring with 372 career home runs. Perhaps his most famous home run came in Game 6 of the 1975 World Series when he famously waived the ball fair to defeat the Cincinnati Reds in walk-off fashion. A 2000 inductee into Baseballs Hall of Fame Fisk has his #27 retired by the Red Sox and his #72 retired in Chicago with the White Sox.
