Duaner Sanchez has been a welcome and effective addition to the Mets' bullpen in 2006. Sanchez who has played for the Arizona Diamondbacks (2002) Pittsburgh Pirates (2002-2003) and the Los Angeles Dodgers (2004-05) was traded along with Steve Schmoll to the Mets in exchange for Jae Weong Seo and Tim Hamulack in January of 2006. In 2005 Sanchez served as the Dodgers' closer after Eric Gagne was lost to injury and his 79 games played tied him for second most appearances made in the NL. Duaner Sanchez has hand signed this 8x10 photograph of him pitching against the Atlanta Braves at Turner Field on April 28 2006 in Atlanta Georgia. The Mets defeated the Braves 5-2.
