Jesse Orosco was on the mound in 1986 to close out both the NLCS and the World Series for the New York Mets. He will be forever remembered for tossing his glove high in the air and leaping into the arms of catcher Gary Garter when he ended the '86 World Series against the Boston Red Sox with a strikeout. It was the Mets' first Championship since 1969. This product is a reprint of the front page of the New York Times' sports section from Oct. 28 1986 with several stories and photographs including a shot of Orosco celebrating on the mound devoted to chronicling the Mets' World Series victory. Jesse Orosco has hand signed the reprint and added the inscription ""1986 Champs."" A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
