Julio Franco is an ageless wonder. The infielder who hails from the Dominican Republic made his Major League Baseball debut in 1982 with the Philadelphia Phillies and has never looked back. A three-time All-Star with more than 2 500 hits to his credit Franco has played for several other teams as well including the Indians Rangers White Sox Brewers Devil Rays and Braves. These days deep into his 40's Franco plays for the New York Mets with manager Willie Randolph looking to the oldest player in the game not just for clubhouse leadership but also for his still-solid glove and ever-powerful bat. Julio Franco has hand signed this 16x20 photograph of him hitting a ground-rule double in the fifth inning against the Boston Red Sox on June 29 2006 at Fenway Park.
